    98 D1 central locking - key doesn't work

    Just replaced another of those dime sized springs on the driver (NAS) front door. (fun) Afterwards: Central locking works fine on all five doors with fob or pulling/pushing door latch/post. Key no longer central locks... Checked microswitch with multimeter, showed continuity in appropriate key...

    Here's a D1 version of a Garmin install. I reinforced the back of the over-head console and used "hot" wire on HomeLink unit, which is switched. No problems with aquisition with built-in antenna, but wouldn't recommend placement for frequent highway/road use when driving solo. On the other hand...

    Black OEM style carpet for rear cargo area

    I followed a buddy of mine's example and used stuff from Kragen Auto - available in tan and black. It took 2 rolls do do the floor plus custom side trim (14 bucks per roll). It's not "loop" construction, but so far is reasonably durable and easy to shape to surfaces. Hope this helps...
