Thanks, so if I cut the key everything else will be fine, no need to have my remote piece reprogrammed or sync itself with the key? The remote portion works, its just a new key I need. Thanks

The initial main problem here was that I could not turn the key when it was in the ignition, after taking it to my mechanic of course he was able to get it to work (I think it had something to do with my disco being parked on a hill and wheels being lock a specific way, the sun and moon...

Good morning all, first off thanks in advance for any help you can provide here, I have 2 issues 1. when I turn the wipers off they dont reset to the down position 2. When I use the intermittent selection the wipers to not reset to the down position, they stop half way. Thanks

Re: Hard shift into low, tried to pull back into High and shifter went "limp" Just thought I would let you guys know, the cable had snapped, and surprisingly enough only an $80 part, and 1.5 hours of labor. Thanks again for all your help

OK that seems to be it, looks like the tip is broken, not sure if it was because it was broken or not, but I was able to pull the shift knob and shaft right out, which would of been an easier method :) should I assume I need to buy a whole new shaft and I guess knob? I appreciate all your help
