Well these miles would be by choice only. I have a daily driver (06 Saab 9-3) so I would only drive it when I wanted to. But, I am curious, what was so bad about driving it that much?

I have a set of shocks from a 2003 D2 with 12k miles. Softer valving than the 99-02, but will fit all D2s. I was gonna toss them but figured if anyone wants them they can have them for free plus shipping.

A few things.....the LR 7500 interval is a load of crap. Change it every or use synthetic if you are gonna do 7500. I prefer Castrol syntec in the engine only because I like using their 5w-50. I use Mobil in everything else. Matthew

Tire vibe would change if you took your foot off of the gas. You have worn ujs in your front d shaft. Replace soon, as this is cheap and if it lets go you are up sh*& creek.

My 01 D2 makes a metal on metal clunk noise sometimes when the left front wheel goes into a big bump or sometimes over speed bumps. I have heard it make the same noise when crawling and flexing. I have tightened everything up and it makes no difference. I has gradually been getting more and more...

My 01 D2 really does not consume any between changes. I pressure wash the undercarriage about every 2 weeks or so and I can usually see a faint wetness but never any drops before I wash.

Just wondered if anyone has ever had any of those "dent wizard" type companies come and remove any dings. I had them do it once on Bimmer, and they did a good job, but I did not know if the aluminum panels on the disco would give them trouble. Anyone? Thanks Matthew
