No sarcasm at all, I was just asking for a more detailed reason and you provided me with it, thank you very much. OK, so what would be the best way to test for the head gasket issue?. A cracked block might be pretty difficult to find unless its in a visible place and its large. I'm not sure...
So my cooling system is building ALOT of pressure in my 87 3.5 Rangie. I blew a small coolant hose and replaced it on the trail but then the system just kept building pressure real bad, the upper radiator hose gets real real hard. When I relieve the pressure like through the radiator cap the...
Some food for thought. You stated that you go to BFE alot and you also said that you mostly travel solo and with just one other person. You also said that you have and will have only stock bumpers, so no extra weight up front or rear. You might want to think about getting yourself a Winch up...
I have already researched this mod and found some fj 80 axles but not sure if I wanna make the leap. I could just go buy an FJ80 with factory locking diffs and build that. Then I'd have a better drivetrain and even a better motor to be honest. IF I could go back in time I woulda bought the...
Yes.......also here in Alaska you really need clearance due to lots of deeper than normal water crossings and mud. I know that a disco on a 2" lift and 265's is supposed to do wonders but its just not enough for here. I'm contemplating just not wheeling the disco due to the fact that anything...
Yeah who the hell knows.......maybe around the next bend there would have been a hole or ledge or whatever that your disco walked and the jeep failed at.......BIG MARK is right, you just never know, earth is an equalizer at times. I've seen Kia's at places I would have though not possible but...
Thank you for knowing WTF your talking about. Yes B lifts are "real" lifts, its just that some trucks are lifted too high with a body lift and look horrible if not done right. We've all seen 17 yr old ricky rocket driving around in his mid 90's chevy silverado with nothing but a 3" Body lift...
Because I'm ALREADY lifted 3" suspension wise and dont want to go any higher via suspension because I dont wanna buy new radius arms/run into vibrations/ adjust caster and ALL the other expensive complications you run into once you go over 3" of suspension lift.
I hate to say this but...........Our Disco's are still just 4 wheeled vehicles. They are not the end all for Off-road prowess. Think about it........Wrangler has coils at each axle, wrangler has better approach and departure angles, wrangler most likely has more power if its the 6 cylinder...
I know on a 2" bodylift you gotta extend seat belt mounts, adjust radiator shroud, mess with shifting/steering linkage but what about if I wanted just a 1" body lift?. You guys think with just a 1" lift i could get away with not doing all that?. Its not laziness I just dont want a 2" BL

I feel the SAME way bro. I posted my "opinion" just as you did on another land rover forum and I got my shiz jumped for saying it. Glad someone else feels the same. STOP WASHING YOUR GD MOTHERFUCKEN MOTORS PEOPLE........wipe the shit down or something, just STOP blasting your engine bays.
