If I remember correctly I removed the code by replacing the coolant temp sensor located in the lower left corner of the rad as you face the engine.

I'll redo it all this weekend and report back. Hopefully that's it and won't have to replace the whole unit as the ABS Amigo's manufacturer website suggests regarding the 016 Code. We shall see.

So I got an ABS Amigo and was able to run the codes as the three amigos came back again. I got the following: 1.--Current Faults----> Active Faults: None Logged Faults: 016:Shuttle valve long term fail 040:Pump relay open circuit Anyone have any experience with these codes?

I had already bled the brakes after I had replace the shuttle valve seals but apparently air can get trapped in the knuckles of the brakes lines where they attach to the ABS module. It was interesting to see the fluid go down in the reservoir while he was running the pump.

OK, found a shop who I've been to before who did the scan for free. Turns out the system just needed to be bled as at one point the brake levels got supper low causing the brake light to come on. If I remember right the three amigos came on first with the brake light showing up soon after...

I know that would have been the smart thing to do but I don't have a scanner to do it. While the prudent thing would have also to have had someone check it before hand but I assumed that replacing the seals and the SVS would cover all the bases. I as also checked the air pump by jumping it...

I tried Option B for the mod found here http://www.landroverclubvi.com/abs-mod.html in hopes of getting rid of my three amigos with no success. I double checked the connections and did the multi-meter test as described to make sure I had a good SVS replacement but the codes haven' cleared...

I'm going with the restriction theory with the oil flowing sufficiently only after it's been heated up.

After looking through the RAVE I discovered that the vacuum line coming from the inlet manifold was going to the wrong end of the vacuum reservoir that I had reinstalled incorrectly. Feeling pretty stupid but I'm glad I can finally get the thing smog checked. Thank for the help none the less!

Thanks for the input KC, any idea what I need to do in light of this? Look for damaged wires?
