I've had Land Rovers in my family since my mom bought a D1 in 1994. I bought a 1993 RRC LWB when I turned 17 in 2007 and drove it until 2015, when I wore it out and replaced it as a daily with a 1994 D1. After sitting idle for a few years I'm now converting it to a IIA Hybrid. I also recently picked up a 1994 RRC LWB that I'm restoring as a daily. So far 1990s coiler Rovers are all I've daily driven.

I'm fortunate to have made Rover friends across the continent, and in addition to driving to East Coast events I try to do fly-drive trips whenever I can..

I joined Discoweb in 2004 when I was 14. I took an inadvertent hiatus on posting after 2010. Consider anything posted before 2019 a reflection of teenage angst and stupidity and not necessarily my worldview or skill set today.

I'm known as Coniston on every other Land Rover forum. I joined this site in 2004 because for about three days over Thanksgiving weekend I wanted to turn a D1 into a Dormobile and wanted to ask some questions. Now I'm stuck with the name I guess. I also squandered a Gmail invite in 2004, so it was a bad year all around for Internet identities.
