    Conclave registration is now open

Made reservations already, bringing our pop-up and I will buy a new grill before we get there. We do have LP if someone has an extra one to hook up. I prefer charcoal myself but the more heat the better. We are in CG I.

    Home A/C repair question

We have had issues with ours from when we bought the house a couple of years ago. We have had three guys out to service the A/C and the only one who knew what he was doing found the problem. He charges up the unit with freon and found that the nipple was leaking. He put a 30 cent cap on the...

    copperheads

Bugs? I think someone mentioned that? They prey on small mammals for the most part and it sounds like your yard is Disney Land for them. Get it cleaned up and don't let your kid play out there. As far as copperheads go, thier venom is the weakest of N. American pit vipers(Rattlers/Cotton...

    front hitch receiver

It is about the smallest pop up made so no more room inside! I think the air flow is a valid point and have decided to scrap the idea....too much of a pain in the ass! The reason was also that I have a dorm fridge that we put in the pup for extended stays and that takes up a good amount of room...

As for putting anything on the back of the pup I would need to install sway bars to the tongue and as far a the roof of the camper I would have to put on a Yakima or Thule system. The roof of a pup up is a fickle bitch, leaks are common so I don't want to mess with it!

    front hitch receiver

I have thought about getting rid of the rack but then another thing comes along that I need it for hauling. Try and picture this; one or more fully loaded coolers(70+lbs?)with me trying to get them down while standing awkwardly on the ladder and a wife who is 5'1".....I can see a weekend turning...

    front hitch receiver

More for camping but yes we hit Hatteras at least once a year and I want more cargo space inside. We tow our popup and wanted to keep the coolers out of the truck. I do have a full sized rack on top but that's a pain in the ass to get fully loaded coolers down from there. I said nothing of...

    front hitch receiver

Anyone have any advice as to rigging a tow receiver to the front of a Disco II? I want to put my cargo basket on the front to carry coolers and what all else. Could this be used as a recovery point?
