20 watts nominal, a little more or less depending on temperatures. They are designed to be a bit brighter than a new halogen bulb, without being so bright that they blind other drivers.

I had those on my LR3 and had some rubbing at full lock. Added 3/4" BORA spacers and had zero rubbing.

My play on words wasn't referring to maintenance costs, but the overall cost. You commented a while ago on being broke for the foreseeable future, which is understandable considering the cost. The point is that it's a compromise either way. A person either invests their dollars or their time.

Up to 2002 which use the same H4 bulbs as earlier models. '03-04 D2s use H7 bulbs. However, I actually have a single set of prototype H7 bulbs. Maybe we can work something out. I've considered doing a pre-order on the site to explore interest in other sizes.
