ABS pump failing over and over and over!!!

i forgot to mention, when the pump fails, the abs light comes on first for a bit. then shortly after the brake light comes on. the fault stored is "stuck pressure switch" then the brakes gradually lose effectiveness.

ABS pump failing over and over and over!!!

New factory sealed pump assys. (pump. accumulator, pressure switch) It never loses brake pressure (until the pump burns up) it sounds like its actually over-pressuring. You can hear the pump working too hard and then it eventually makes a high pitch "blow-off" like sound and continues...

ABS pump failing over and over and over!!!

My old 1999 P38, which I sold keeps burning up ABS pumps. I believe this is the 5th pump its burned up in the past year. Something is causing it to stick on. Tow rating for Rovers

I pull a 18' tandem axle toy hauler with my RR 4.6 and loaded I guess its probably around 5500 lbs. It tows very nice actually, but I would not want to pull anything much bigger. I can cruise about 60-65 no problem on the flat, but slow down to 40mph on the really steep hills. Relevant towing...
