Noise when turning sounds like a CV issue but I would also check the bolts that hold the front rotors to the hub in case they backed out a little. and also motor/trans/tcase mounts if you don’t find anything else.
Not really sure what you are asking but they have nothing to do with sealing the windshield. The old ones will get damaged when the new windshield is installed but you can add new ones any time after.
Agree. I’d move the front wheels to the back and see what happens. Quick, easy and free.
And if you have someone rock the steering back and forth, you can watch for play in the lower column rubber coupler and steering box/pitman arm/steering linkage.
Not sure if you replaced the steering damper but if not, might try that. Also, check for play in the rubber joint in the lower steering column assembly.
Always a possibility. You can test them with a multimeter. I would check everything until you find the problem. But after 13 years, it’s probably time to refresh a few things regardless.
