    I like the direction Jims95 was heading; taking the belt off for a minute is also a good idea. My first thought is a cracked torque converter flex plate, or something in the converter itself.

    This has happened to my 2000 D2 a few times, and every time the problem was (unless it was a coincidence) low battery voltage. Doesn't really seem to make sense, but a new set of brushes (with the regulator assembly) fixed it each time. Fixed the two green flashing transmission lights, too.

    My version of RAVE (6th edition) says they're the same. I'm looking for a less agressive profile, for more low-end torque. That's why I chose the 50227.

    DII unmetered air

    Was this ever resolved? I'm getting the same 4 codes: 171 & 174 intermittent; 172 & 175 steady. I've replaced the MAF, all 4 O2 sensors and the injector seals. Maybe I should have checked the lower manifol bolts while I had the upper one off.

    CRC makes an electronic cleaner. It' called QD, for quick-drying. It evaporates without a trace.
