if I superlock my Disco, it blows the fuse to the door locks. I can still open the driver door with the key, but I have to change the fuse to the door locks.
I would go with radius arms. Make sure those bolts are TIGHT. Didn't tighten the bolts enough after RTE 3" lift. Made that noise. Tightened some more, few months later made the noise again, turning and off road. Seemed to loosen because I didn't crank the heck out of 'em.
I just threw those codes, plus P0332 (low voltage knock sensor). I have an oil leak as well. What would be the best way to clean the connections of all the crud? I want to try this first before I go out and buy new sensors.
Well, problem solved with the temperature swings. Installed a 180* tstat and now runs between 183 to 188. So I tested the 195* tstat that I originally bought. It doesn't open up until boiling and takes about 10 seconds to fully open (that explains the 195* to 210* swing I was having).
I just did this mod today and I am also seeing temperature swings. I have a 195 degree tstat for an '88 Chevy Corvette. It will hover around 195 then climb to 210 in about 2 minutes, then drop down to 190 in a matter of 10 seconds, then repeat the whole process again. I've bled the system...
I am doing this mod this weekend. I pretty much replaced everything in the cooling system and was still getting temps from 208 to 226 idling in 45 degree weather. I can't imagine anything more "catastrophic" than slipping the liners from overheating. Which has happened to me 2 weeks after I...
Top hose is hot and pressure is solid. Pump came from Will Tillery. No leaks from the weep hole. Bought one from Rovers North a while back, started leaking from the weep hole in just over a year.
I've been running hotter than I'd like to be for some time. Average is 204. Tonight I idled for 5 minutes and climbed to 226!!

4wheel Parts Procomp steel wheels, PCW87-6820. I run 285/75 R16 Goodyear MT/R Kevlars on them, but it does have 4.75" backspacing. I don't have any rubbing issues on the radius arms, but did have to trim the plastic sill guards a little and of course, the front bumper. I got them for $75 a...
