    Spray/Paint on Bedliner

You might want to think twice. It was somewhat common for Jeep guys to do this with bumpers and rails till problems started coming up. Bedliner bonds to itself far better than to the surface it's put on, especially if the surface is smooth. That makes it tend to peel up when scratched or rubbed...

    Roll Over Speed?

A few years ago, the Mitzu Montero made headlines as the easiest vehicle to roll over. Peaked my interest as I had my wife in one at the time. I then watched a vid of the test. Full speed with the driver yanking the wheel back and forth, getting more lean on each pull, till it finally went over...

    D2 w/ 3", Wonder as Much as D1 w/ 3"

My D1 feels very loose with OME 3" Wife's D2 is solid as a rock with RTE 3" I attribute about 75% due to vehicle model, 25% due to springs.

What To Do About Those Stupid Chrome Lugs!?

Good luck finding an aftermarket lug nut that centers the wheel on the 1-1/8" OD surface like LR lugs do. Make sure you use anti-sieze on this OD surface. That's what contacts the alum wheel. Alum + Steel + H2O = nasty grey corrosion causing the two parts to become as one. This was made very...

    False Advertisment.....?

Yea, I see the 4000 can be had for around $750. Lincoln bulbs are $195 online. Still a long cry from $39 for everything. We can't be comparing apples to apples here.

    Holy DIII Batman!

Gotta be sweet, tearing into a brand new vehicle with very few budget constraints.

    Will this work...

I have 265-75-16s (32") on both a D1 and a D2. I just took off each spare mount and redrilled the holes about 1" higher. You have to rebend the upper flange a little (it'll be obvious where) and the rear wiper will be close to hitting (I just ground a little more out).

    False Advertisment.....?

I just did an ebay search for the HID conversion kits. $39?! My 6watt HID bicycle lite cost over $400. The HID bulbs for my Lincoln cost $250 each. Ballast over $400. Hella rallye 4000 HIDs run around $1000 Doesn't really add up. Kinda hard to buy that for $39 you're getting actual HID bulbs...

The reasons to buy a Discovery

I'm a relatively new LR owner. I bought my wife a D2 a little over a year ago; was so impressed with hers I bought myself a D1 a few months ago. I'm also a reformed Jeep owner. The key I've found is, it's imperative to learn to work on your own vehicle. I believe this is true no matter what you...

    three amigos solved for $350

Had the same fix done on my wife's D2. Two months later they were back. :banghead: I gave up and built them a bedroom in the basement. It's not so bad, they keep us company on long drives.

    Who is using maxxis tires?

I've been a huge fan of Maxxis tires for years. I've used the Mudzillas and now the Creepy Crawlers on my XJ rock crawler. I have the 265-75-16 Bighorn Mudders on both my wife's D2 and my D1 and love them. Hell, I even use the Maxxis Minotaurs on my mountain bike.
