if it has a ladder frame and solid axles it is a truck -- the shit sitting on top of it is just a body that looks a little different depending on the manufacturer

The 6.2 catches a lot of flak from the hardcore diesel types because it's pretty low-power compared to a big turbo diesel -- but at the same time there are a number of giant forums devoted to the 6.2/6.5 alone. This motor will be running just fine ten years from now as long as the oil is changed...

Truck sat for a year (in AZ). Oil cooler is leaking. I replaced some hose, which stopped the leak for a while, but it's back. Probably needs a new set of good steel lines, maybe a new cooler (it'll take any old one). I drove the truck 90 miles to get to the transporter a week ago to get it...

Yeah, that rack is a jewel and they are not easy to find anymore. This one has sand ladder mounts, too.
