I think that's a reasonable assumption. Yes, I do have a flashing odometer. I switched around the key cylinder and instrument cluster to match, but it still flashes. I haven't had a chance to work on the truck over the weekend, but when I get back there I'll play around with swapping the BCU...

Another odd situation with that. I swapped both the ECU and BCU together and the car would not turn over at all - it likely had some sort of security wall. For the heck of it I tried the 99 D2 ECU with the 03 D2 BCU... It started and has been running since. I thought that was strange.

Odd - I was using a Carsoft LR reader. It turned out the grounds were fouls, so the code was correct. Odd that the reader contradicts the RAVE.
