I would over inflate the tires before I did this. Your truck might drive like crap but your MPG will go up.
NOTE-Never exceed the max pressure on the tire!
Check the hose clamp on the bottom of the P/S bottle. The issue is every time you take the cap on and off the bottle twist on the hose and it leaks. The fluid runs down the hose onto the box.
By the way an automatic trans and P/S systems are very similar.
I just could resist this tread. I even sold my D1 a while back but still post now and then(some day I'll have another!). I would touch a new FJ with a ten foot pole and I work at a Toyota dealer! My Disco never gave me any problems really and at least it had style.

It seems the older D! 3.9 have fewer problems than the newer 4.0's. I know the newer ones overall drive better with fewer clunks and such but they seem to have more issues?
Or is it that im just nuts?
