Awe come on now. I'm spending right at 1G on timing set, oil pump gears,rebuilt heads, gaskets, both drive shaft overhauls, new brass prop water pump, new gray thermostat, new hoses, belt and other small stuff. So for me it's worth a try. If it blows another head gasket, I'll consider junking it...

So does allmakes make a premium cam gear for 03 D2? If so where do you get it? The AllMakes and aftermarket ones I've seen pics of must be the 'standard'. I've read their crank gear is ok but the cam gear is not. Now I've read that their cam gear is same as OEM but, to me, looks alot less...

Ok, I'll use new gears but, from the pics I've seen, the pot holes in the casting on the allmakes sure aren't microscopic. Appreciate the input. So do they make a standard and premium line of gears?

Still looking for a relief valve plug (push in not screw in) or busted cover with a good plug if anybody has one. The other one fell through.
