Traditionally I never use nothing but factory stuff on hard to get to and critical parts, which will include a water pump. Scrimp on other easily accessible stuff. I know it's mostly peace of mind.

This requires a certain element of common sense and is null and void for those in frozen tundras. I get in the car fire her up, widdle waddle through the apartment complex shenanigans for 1/4 mile, through a 30 mph road for another 3 miles then I hit the 45mph road and I let her do her thing...

At least on an 04, jump seats are not bolt in and will require rear trunk floor welding and as such. I just bought an 04SE. I see no reason to buy other than an 04 at this point in the used car game and considering LR's reputation. Hold out for at least an SE if not an HSE but I doubt you...

I shipped mine from California to Texas. By the time you calculate the premium gas, shipping would be less and you ad less miles to the rig too.
