Have only had them off road once, can't say that I've have them fully stuffed. There is no rubbing at full wheel lock even at access height.
For Glide7, a guy in Texas has coopers in 275/65/18s - he has some rubbing at normal ride height. Pics here...
I have zero problems with the 265s, haven't gotten underneath to see how close they are though. The 285s are an inch taller, best bet would be to find a tire dealer who is willing to test fit them for you before you buy.

Along with some lengthy discussion, including a few US owners. dealer response on this sems to have been spotty. Mine said the wear had to occur within 12K miles.
Sorry, I mis-quoted the tire size, they are 265/65/18 (285/85 would never fit of course).
I got them at a sears auto center (only because it is across the street from work). Any place that carries Goodrich tires should be able to get them for you. A bit pricy at $255 but the stealership...

I only got 30K out of the "60K" (the warranted milage) wranglers. Dealer said that was about what they were seeing, wear out quick due to the weight of the truck. POS tires for a 5500lbs truck IMO.
