    Heavy canvas tent repair?

Hmmm, Apache tent trailer by chance??? I've got one, basically a big tent on wheels, I'm in the same boat with canvas repair - a good sewing awl works wonders for small areas then just use wax or some other waterproofing. I carry a plastic tarp big enough to cover it "just in case" - there is...

    Abs Amigo Group Purchase!!!

All three - I have one of the original ones, and I've probably used it a half a dozen times so far - I reset the three amigos and all is well for a few days/weeks/month - and when cleared my TC/ABS seems to work just as well as anyone elses..... Mine has already paid or itself several times over!

    It's get'n hot again...radiator question.

Graham - is your fan shroud in good shape? I was fighting overtemp issues in my classic after the engine swap last summer - my shroud was not right (serpentine conversion in the 92 - had to butcher a shroud to get it to fit around the tranny cooler lines) - ended up re-routing the lines, put in...

    Leaking steering gearbox

This was on a 92 RRC, but I was able to do both the input and output shaft seals with the box in the truck. The input shaft was a pain just do to the location, but the output shaft seal was pretty straightforward. Mine was leaking at the output shaft, but I did both anyway.

    Auto Trans Kick Down Cable

Yeah, I think the resistance at the end is the actual "kickdown", which should come at WOT. I think the rave CD says there should be a 1.5-3 mm gap between the metal crimp on the cable and the cable sheath (throttle end) with the throttle closed. Can't remember the exact number, but seems like...

    Leaking steering gearbox

I did the shaft seals at least a year ago with the kit from BP, no leaks so far - it had about 120k on it at the time - not sure if it was the original box.

    Cool watch suggestions

I have a Reactor "Photon" - pretty tough so far and I'm pretty hard on watches, (a few scratches in the crystal and the case has some dings) but it doesn't do much more than just tell time....from what I recall the warranty is pretty good. The "Trident" model has tritium dials if you want real...

    Auto Trans Kick Down Cable

I may have mispoke on that a bit - it might not affect line pressure directly....I ran across the original description off a volvo site for the ZF 4Hp22. Sounds like with it disconnected the valve body pressure will be low resulting in slow/sloppy shifts all the time - I would imagine that...

    Roll over Rover

Saw this RRC on "Destroyed in Seconds" the other night....found somebody had already posted on youtube. The video quality in the link isn't great and not my choice of music. On the show they noted that the truck drove off under its own power! :applause...

    Auto Trans Kick Down Cable

I don't think the "kickdown" cable is really a kickdown cable. I always thought it was feedback to the tranny on where the throttle was and where the line pressure should be regulated to (or something like that). Not just a simple kickdown. I thought if you run with it out of spec your line...

    Three amigos reset tool

I did mine with the key on - no ill effects. I didn't try it with the key off first, but I will next time.
