Same exact thing happened to me. This is caused by the switch contacts overheating and melting a little bit. Replacing the switch will fix your problem, but if you have any mechanical skills, you can fix it. Remove the switch. Disassemble the switch (be careful for releasing any springy things...

I have the same problem. I would like to know if the switch fixed your problem. I was convince it was a relay.
