My front drivelne has failed at the upper joint twice in the last year. The cv part of the ujoints keeps failing. Before I buy another one, is there anything I am missing?
I broke my front drive shaft ujoint and screwed up the yoke pretty bad. Can I just lovk the t-case and get it home. I have to drive 500 miles. I sure hope so. Willi hurt the t-case? Thanx
my battery has 12.1 volts just static and the connections are good at the battery and the starter. is there a way to test the starter without taking it out and going to the parts store?
I don't think it's the NSS because the starter clicks, and I checked that is doesn't when in drive. The starter doesn't spin though, so could it still be the solenoid

and I was testing it out in front of the house. I had started and shut off the vehicle 6 or 7 times, and now all I get is a click from the starter. i had no warning. Am i right in asuming its the starter
typically on most vehicles if the windscreen is put in with urethane, it is a structural part of the vehicle. If it is a floating rubber gasket it is not. Normally the creaking you hear is just the glass moving in the gasket.
I have a 99 d2 w/ heated windscreen. When I press the button the light in the switch does not come on, however the SLS indicator ( i don't have sls ) comes on as long as i am depressing the button. Any ideas? I am very interested in fixing this, because we have gotten 30" of snow in three days...
