The part that connects to the drive shaft, on the transfer case, is spinning, so that's good. But you can't drive it sans front shaft?

Hi, can't believe it broke on the way home from work, of all times, after much off road torture. Anyway, I took it off and it won't drive. Question: you can't drive an 02D2 without the front driveshaft? why not? Is something else wrong? Should it drive? Thanks!

I guess I'll be the one to say 18" wheels are really not for serious off road on Rovers. But it sounds as if ya just want some AT tires that look a little better than stock street, since you don't even want a lift. I can say BFG AT will last a LONG time and tolerate light to moderate off...

Set of five Goodyear HP 255 55 r18 comes with lug nuts. $250.00 Spare tread looks new. One looks pretty worn in the center but definitely driveable still. Two of the other three have nice tread left, with the third on the worn side. Since the spare looks new, you got four tires ready to go...

Has anyone out there done the CDL conversion on their 2002 D2? Am I correct that one needs, in addition to the cdl kit and shifter, the part of the transfer case with the nipple? Besides Toddco, any other places carry these parts? Thanks for the info.
