Special Ed,t of the engine. Thank you. This is not the strap. That strap is there and is considerably smaller. (Driver's side - head to firewall). This was found in the front of the engine.

Henry, I pulled the engine with the help of my son and we brought it to the machine shop attached to the Napa on Six Forks road by Wegmans. I bought a set of top hat liners and had them installed.

I apologize for this question but I have never used a pressure tester before. Since the intake manifold is removed shouldn't I have to clamp off the coolant lines before I run the pressure check?

2002 Disco - I pulled the intake and there appears to be a puddle just behind the alternator on the passenger side. Photos attached. Anyone have any idea where this leak might be coming from? It is leaking pretty heavy coming down the back on the end on the passenger side.

How can I tell if it's coming from the heater hoses?

2002 Disco2. Coolant leaks back of the engine so that it drips on the passenger side catalytic converter. I can't seem to be able to trace where it is leaking from. Only leaks when it gets up to running temperature. In fact, it didn't leak until I switched on the AC. Any idea?

My son was struck in our 2002 Discovery. It was a low speed accident but truck was pushed over and it's side. Tow truck pulled it upright after about an hour. Truck stutters now. Was wondering if there is anything obvious I should be looking at or changing.

To change lock on driver's door. After you remove the handle. Then unscrew the phillips screw on the inside of the handle and then remove the circlip and washer on the end of the key barrel. Then pry the rectangular out side cover. It just prys off. PUT THE KEY IN THE BARREL and leave it...

Nevermind I pulled the plastic cover off and it came right out.

removed circlip and washer and the have key in barrel and it will not come out. Even tried banging it with a hammer.
