Check out the fuel pump relay. After replacing my fuel pump, I still had the same problem. Replacing the relay did the trick.

The stealership charges $8 for just the screw. As for the piece broken off in the hose...if you're feeling up to it...you could pop it out and get the screw part out without needing to get a new hose. It is a plastic piece glued to the inside of the hose. It's probably more trouble than it's...

Make sure you know its the pump before you replace it. I replaced my pump only to learn that it was a faulty relay. Could have saved $400!!

I got a couple of heads machined and cleaned up a few years ago for $40 each. I'm with ptschram. Its definitely money well spent and in my book worth the piece of mind. Make sure you use new bolts as well, as they tend to stretch a bit during torquing process. Good luck!!

Is it the switch/stalk or could it be the relays? I've got the same problem and figured I'd swap out the relays since they are the easiest to be begin with...

Checked the wiring, fuses...and yes...it does have gas. ;) My wife has been the one having a hard time starting it as of late. Next time it happens, I'll listen to see if the pump is getting power. How much of a change, if any is acceptable for fuel pressure? Cozy...did you say Crankshaft...
