Thanks. I'll try them in my stock Disco.
As for the LEDs I got, the beam angle is 360-degrees. I think the problem with other LEDs is their beam angle is less than 360-degrees. A relative is a design engineer in the lighting industry, specifically w/LEDs since 2001. He said if the LEDs are...
Thanks. I recently replaced that 32mm nut when I replaced my upper and lower bushings with poly bushings. I recall that nut is "hand tightened" and held in place with a notch, using a punch or chisel.
But there's 4 bolts that attach the hub to the axle housing, do you know the torque settings...
Thanks! I'll check that out. I bought the LR3 2.5 years ago and the previous owner installed a Parrot bluetooth adapter and routed the USB and Apple connectors through the center console so I'll check the center console as well.
I need to replace the wheel hub/bearing on my LR3 and want to confirm the torque setting. I Googled it and saw a site mentioned the "hub nut" is 230 nm which is 170 ft. lbs. So is the "hub nut" referring to the 4 bolts that attached the wheel hub to the axle? I ask because to me, those are...
Thanks, that could be it! I haven't removed the seats but stuff has rolled under there and then the seats moved back and forth. And about 2-3 months ago, I see the message "Nav not fitted..." which is annoying but I don't use the LR nav so I wasn't worried about it.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone. I decided to give LEDs a shot and got a pair of Auxbeams because they were on sale last weekend for $41.40. Figured if they didn't work, I wasn't out a lot of $$.

Installed them yesterday...
Maybe the thinner filament explains why the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs I had didn't last very long. I burned thru 2 sets in 5 years. It could also be because I drove on a lot of washboard roads in Death Valley. One time, a week after coming back from Death Valley, a policeman pulled me...
Thanks, when you say "rear", are you referring to the nav unit under the driver's seat?
The D2 videos are from the Big Bear area. Clipo008, Clip0010 and 00041 are Dishpan Springs, which exits at Crabflats camp ground. The Pontiac Sluice video is also in the Big Bear area, east of Baldwin Lake.
My nav screen is scrambled as shown in the attached video. It happened last night when I started up the vehicle. Anyone have an idea what's causing this and how to fix this?

Is this the LED bulbs you're using? I might get the 7000 lumens at 50 watts. Does that mean I'd need to do the harness rewire trick?

And yes, I'd like to see the beam pattern of the halogen vs. the Cyclops...
I want to replace my headlights (H4/9003) with LED bulbs. I saw a variety of LEDs on Amazon, ranging from 7,200 to 12,000 lumens, for the pair. My experience with LED bulbs is some brands burn out quickly, and others are not as bright as advertised.
So just wondering if anyone has used LED...
Wow, big difference in price!! I talked with Champion, they don't have a direct fit for the D2 but their prices for stock all-aluminum radiators are:
$159.98 - 2 row
$179.98 - 2 row w/bigger pipes
$209.98 - 3 row
Plus the cost of modifications which are TBD, assuming the D2 rad...
