The oil type and weight is dependent on where you live and how you drive. 5W30 should be fine for an LR3, unless your going north a lot in the winter or doing what would be considered severe driving, 0W40 might be a bit much. I live in NH run 5W30 in the LR3 and 15W40 in my Discovery. Winslow

Go with a Used RR or LR3. You can get them certified used car status or whatever LRNA calls them. Get the warrenty out to 75K or 6 years. Then if you need to get work done your covered. If you don't like it having that extra warrenty helps at trade in time. Winslow
