I replaced camshaft bearings on an 89 Rangie but had to pull the engine....assuming the block/bearings are the same for a Disco I the below might be helpful. Bearings can be gotten from the usual suspects, Atlantic British, etc. GET the special cam bearing removal and install tool...I'm telling...

I have an opportunity at a pretty nice 94 D1, in better shape than mine and seems to run and drive just as well. I'm thinking of moving the lift, tires, bumper etc from the 96 to the 94. Questions or maybe more of a poll to the group.... Keep the 94 OBDI 3.9 with distrubutor or the 96 OBDII...

I have nothing to offer for a fix, however my 96 D1 has had the same code for months but without the gasoline issue you mentioned. I haven't noticed any problems, engine runs smooth and fuel mileage is normal.

My A/C has just started having an issue the last two days, it's just started getting over 90 here in Phoenix, Az. The a/c seems to work great right when turned on, but slowly the intervals of the compressor clicking on and off gets more frequent until it just clicks on and off and the air blows...

Aquired a set of OME springs recenlty, the rear springs still had a tag attached identifiying them as OME762's, the heavy duty's. The front springs had no tag, is there a way to identify the springs visually as to which ones they are?? Thanks! Ed Colorado Springs, CO
