i am looking at a 97' that needs a heater core replaced, according to the owner. i have never done a heater core replacement. the truck is in great shape, from what i can tell, and it is pretty cheap, considering. any advice? i know the dash has to be pulled to put in.

what causes oil to "gel"? my boss has a relatively new Lexus and he recently had some work done on it. timing belt/chain changed and some other stuff. now, its is billowing smoke and the dealer said the oil was "gelled"? wtf does that mean and what are some of the causes?
