I just found out that Land Rover is offering shuttle valve repair kits for about $63.00. That is what broke on my ABS modulator (I wish they offered this kit at the time). I think that most of the ABS modulator failures are the shuttle valves.

After extensively searching here and on the web I was able to find the exact Spicer replacement for the DII front driveshaft. The part number is 5-4x and Fleetpride can get them for about $33. I did find at the end of this thread that this part number is obsolete; I called Fleetpride this...

We're going to use the RTE springs (RR4's and RR1) and as I recall they (I think his name was Seth...) suggested OME springs. I might also replace the steering stabilizer too. Is there anything else I need to do? Eric

I had an interesting conversation with a friend that works for the local LR dealer. He told me that there is a service bulletin about the abs modulator. I have the same exact symptoms and will be trying this tonight! Eric
