So my oil light has been flickering at idle when hot so I pulled mine apart today and a 1" long x 1/8" thick hunk of metal came out with the spring. :(

My question really is I couldn't get the p/r piston to come out, but...
The motor passed emissions a few months back in my other D1 but failed after the transplant.
My HC reading is at 2.887 when the limit is 2 and my CO is at a whopping 91 when the limit is 20.
No check engine light.
It idles a bit rough
I checked to make sure the o2 sensors where plugged in...
Should I take the torque converter off the fly wheel and let it sit on the output shaft of the tranny then try and bolt it to the fly wheel once the block is secured to the tranny?
We are having a heck of a time trying to get everything lined up and it is suppose to be 20 degrees tomorrow so...

I ran a compression test and am curious what is acceptable for a 1995 3.9 auto with 156000 miles. Here are my results - obviously 7 has an issue.
1 - 8.5
2 - 8.9
3 - 8.5
4 - 9
5 - 8.4
6 - 8
