This is my 2001 D2 with 1994 D1 grill , so yes it fits , but you have to change front bumper to avoid gaping hole between grill and bumper ...on the second thought do as you are pleased...

On the D2 modulator take care of ABS braking and traction control. So if you take modulator out on the D2 you will lose traction control.

Just do it , it is easy as it looks .All simple things are good .So I just bought new lines because old ones were falling apart on touch .I reused all original fittings ,you don't have to buy any new ones .This is my tread on other forum it is still work in progress ...

Is your engine 3.9 ?

Before you put engine upside down , go to the gas station and fill it up with highest octane gas you can find , clear the codes with OBD2 scanner , and than drive it and see if this make any difference.

I have similar problem .My SES light goes on and off on it's own .But there is pattern , when I am on freeway going 70 than if I release gas pedal to slow down to 50 and than I pres the gas it will hesitate and stumble and I got SES light .If I drive it aggressively everything is OK.My codes...

I have few codes that bother me recently ,0300 , 1300 , 0308 , 0300 ,0305 .I know it is misfiring , but code 1300 is not in my book . When I drive , feels like it stumbles , like injectors don't give fuel , but when I press gas it goes nice. Is this head gasket ?

Come on man tell us what is the procedure to fix that srs light problem since you were at it.

My srs light is going on and off looks like randomly .On a another forum somebody suggested that a malfunctioning buckling switch is causing that, so far I don't know for sure.

I have both D1 and D2 and difference between their frames are around 1/4 of an inch , mounting holes are the same. For the beauty of it I even fitted grill from D1 on D2 .

That price is too high.Here in Montreal local LR mechanic is charging 750$ gaskets and labor included.Your mechanic gave you that price because he is too busy to take your truck .If you are crazy to pay that price he will put all other trucks on hold and fix your first , because sucker like this...

Rust happens mostly in the winter when you heat up inside of the truck and outside is very cold.Basically it is condensation.Learn to drive your truck in the winter with minimum heat.And that rubber sponge is your enemy , get rid of it.Keep carpet though .
