Need to replace my 98 D1 fuel pump - any spares laying around?

Yup - I have used JC several times in the past. good experience.

Was hoping to avoid going to Glenwood Springs and LR Roaring fork. I guess they are the only ones around that service these things. With the number of old RR and Defenders i'm surprised there is not someone closer to Aspen for service.

got the ring off. It is the pump assembly. Worked it for 2 hours and it hasnt moved. I have gas cap unscrewed. Scared to try and pry it with a screwdriver as I dont want to break the plastic assembly.

I have attached a dog collar to the plastic piece and have pulled pretty hard, it hasnt budged. Any tricks?

I am in Denver. Never played with bearings. All I have done is replace pads before. Now I need to do rotors too. I do have Haynes manual and Rave CD however. jp

Thanks for the rec. I was going to call to have him do the 60K service on my D1. He was referred by someone else on this board as well.

But for some reason AM does not get any reception any more. Could it be a loose wire or something else. All other electrical seems to work fine.
