I'll have to check mine again... I looked it over and found no cracks or holes in my vac lines, so I hope it's not my ECU. I REALLY wish it worked, I love CC.
Thanks for the info "Fat"
have the occasional elec, check engine, amigo thing as well. Wrote it off to " should have bought an 04 not an 03".... I'll go check as well. Nice find and thanks for sharing.:victory:
would LOVE to have the "carputer" for clean look as long as I could run all the toys through it. Anyone know where you can find a used or fairly descent price on one??
First my DII, now my wifes 02 Freelander. Today driving happily down the road, the check engine light came on. I drove to my nearest friendly neighborhood AutoZone for a code check. Check revealed P0171 (lean, or O2 sensor) and P1471 (Emission, so says friendly autozone min wage "dude"

And the winner is .... pdogg!! stopped in to AutoZone today as the light came on and started to blink. Misfire in cylindar number 7. Should be ordering plugs tonoight and changing them along with my valve cover gaskets and so forth with in the week
BTW my wife gave birth to our first son...
well, I got off work, started my truck and ... no check engine light. I did go to AutoZone and their tester was 129$. seemed decent enough, but I wish it was 65-70$
I'm thinking that it might be my catalytic converter the way it shuddered and now the light is off. I expect it to come back...
Oh, I didn't know that... sweet I work across the street from one and will go first thing in the morning when I get off work. Thanks!!
I've seen people talk about having one... sounds like enough people have issues that I should grab one. Anyone know of a good place to get a fairly decent one...
Call me a crazy newbie, but my check engine light came on today and the DII shutters as it drives sometimes.:banghead: I see everyone talking about "fault codes". Do I need an OBD tester to find thiese out... or is there some magical way to check these like you check the AC system codes?
If I'm not mistaken it all depends on what the lights require. If you go with too small a wire you run the risk of getting them too hot and melting them. Check the rating on the wire and make sure the 16ga has the capacity for all the lights, if so, no prob.
I'm by no means an electric...
