manual transmission. besides the transfer case, the heater core is leaking. i've bypassed it. also, the driver door handle is iffy at times. good to go beyond that.

95 disco one. transfer case gone. 100k on the odometer, but the engine was rebulit some 19000 miles or so. at least that's what the prior owner said. runs great outside of the transfer case situation. $800 Columbia SC

yes, i searched the forum first. found answers, but still want to be sure: can i put a 96 Disco AT transfer case in a 95 manual disco? if so, what are the pitfalls? a link to an appropriate thread would be fine. thanks! ps this rover directly contributed to my pending divorce. :applause:

yeah, i found a user with one for sale. that was my next question...are the Xfer cases the same for automatoc vs manual? how hard is it to swap the whole assembly?
