I have Treadwright Bead to Bead (B2B) "Claw" tread pattern on my 1999 4x4 Suburban and have ran them for about 5000 miles now with absolutely no problems at all. I did pay the extra few buck for the "Kedge Grip" option.

Yeah, I was looking at going and getting the "loaner" from Autozone tomorrow. Guess I should have mentioned this is a brand new Silla radiator I put in two weeks ago due to nipple on old OEM radiator breaking off. When it broke off, it got hot, and wife pulled over and shut it down right away...

Pulled and checked both. Both look normal. Had checked oil on friday evening after first overheating and it was in between add and full. It is in same place today.

My wife's daily driver, 1999 DII. 147K miles. Drove a few miles friday to go to Wally World and on the way home it started to overheat. I pulled over just as it was reaching top temp and light came on. Opened hood and expansion tank was "boiling" and top hose across top of engine was rock...

So what are those little metal c clips that are on the electrical connectors called and where can you find replacements? Took one with me to the parts store and they had no clue (no surprise there). Dropped one and cannot find it!!!

She has owned vehicle for about 3 years and it had 97K miles on it when we bought it. Never have done the HG. Spark plug for #1 was normal looking, not wet or steam cleaned. It looked like any other normal spark plug. Some black at the base and the electrode and ceramic had normal light...

1999 Disco II, 147K miles OK, Wife's daily driver. Drives about 80 miles round trip daily. Today she is driving home and says at about 50mph it stumbles a little and then starts to run rough at all speeds while driving. She makes it home and I put the tester on it. Reading P0301 and P0300...

Update - Got replacement coil in from Will and swapped it out along with wires and plugs while I was in there. Put it all back together and it's back running like normal. Thanks for all the help! Smittygj

Who has the best deal on coil packs right now? Guess I ought to go ahead and replace them both while I'm in there.

OK, 99 DII, 138K miles. Friday, wife said the SES light came on, and it "seemed to run a little rough". Put the code reader on it, and it is returning P0301 cyl 1 misfire. Cleared code. Changed plug (plug looked good, but replaced it with new champion anyway). Started up, sets the p0301 code...

I did similar thing. Used a piece of all thread and cut off size I needed, and then JB welded it into place thru the gear. Window hits it on the way down and stops. Has been working well for almost a year now...

Late Entry - Ended up being the crank position sensor. Replaced with known good part (thanks Will Tillery!!!) and she's running fine again. Smittygj

Fuel pressure looks good. Key on test = 46 PSI Running = 50 PSI Shut off leakdown test = still reading 46 PSI after 30 minutes Going to replace plugs and wires next weekend, but don't believe that is the issue. Is there any way to test the crankshaft position sensor? Anyone have any other...

Between a half and a quarter of a tank. Guage has been reliable.

MAF is new. Was replaced the week before we bought it. Wouldn't a crank position sensor throw a code? Smittygj
