Since the problem now seems to be affecting both banks, it's likely not the 02 sensors anymore. Given the benefit of the doubt that all 4 sensors are new, they "shouldn't" be a possible cause anymore. You may have gotten a bad sensor, but the likely hood of getting 2 (or more) new bad sensors...
I just got a Dayco and it works great. Perhaps you have the wrong belt (e.g. they sent you one that's too long)? Belt part #'s are based on length in inches, so you can easily switch to a shorter belt just by playing with the part #'s. But either way, make sure what you have is correct. I...
No problem, but keep in mind, you get what you pay for. I'm not keen on universal 02's for any type of vehicle, so I chose to buy something from a LR specialist. Not that Summit's or other's are crap sensors or anything (because I quite frankly haven't looked). But if you're going to need to...
I just posted something similar to your experience, look for something on the next page of posts titled Codes P0130 and P0171. My experience was identical, however, your codes are not quite the same. The code for bank 1 sensor 1 (driver side pre-cat 02) is P0130. You are not getting that...
Hello, I'm looking for a D2 replacement driver side rear passenger door lock actuator (not the rear cargo door). Used would be perfect. PM me if you have something and what you want for it total. I don't think year matters, but it's an '03 if it does.
Ok I'm dumb. I can no longer find the link to the '03 Oil Pump technical service bulletin. The only previous post that I can find (doing a search) gives a dead link "page not found." Does anyone else have a functional link to the TSB? The TSB # was TA03 1201. Even google just shows...
There isn't enough room in the harness to even consider moving the harness pigtails. I only moved the sensors. I put the passenger O2 sensor back, installed the new O2 on the driver side and so far it is happy again.
For the $5 it would cost you to buy a tube of hi temp sensor safe RTV at the auto parts store, it's worth a shot for a temporary fix. Speculating about whether it might work or not won't do much good. I've been able to get by with it in similar scenarios, but it really all depends on where the...
I just did a search on the Equus site, and it says P1129 (for Land Rover) means:
Upstream oxygen sensors connected incorrectly (swapped)Drive cycle C:Signal implausible
I did swap them, but how does it know??? It's not like I whispered in it's ear. I thought the sensors were the same, and...
Oh good, now I'm getting P1129 and P0150.... If I just let it idle, it will idle fine for a minute, run like crap for a minute, run ok for a minute, run fine for a minute. It can't make up it's mind.
Ok, I've removed both front 02 sensors and swapped them. Now I am getting P0130 (still) and now P1129. I can't find anything on this second code. I haven't run it long, but I have not gotten P0171 again yet. It actually ran great for the first few minutes (cold engine), I took it for a 5...
I already know what the codes refer to, pre-cat O2 sensor bank 1 (P0130), and bank 1 lean (P0171). I'm just curious to know if there's anything else it could be. I doubt it's something the cylinder itself, meaning injector, slipped liner, sticky valves, or the other bad things because it would...
