I think the most obvious problem with stock alloys is the offset is way narrow so if you go to tires larger than 30" mabe even 9.5" wide, you will have lessened turning radius and articulation concerns

If you are switching back and forth the Rover wheels will work with the lug nuts from your alloys aftermarket wheels are thinner and you must use lug nuts another $40 - $50 unless you can get aftermarket lug nuts also.
Justin GBR has the thirds complete 411' and ARB, set up just drop in for $1600/ axel The set up is an art also not everybody can do it.

I have 4 black rover natos 16 x 7 for a D2 (Rovers north) I'd like to get $100 ea I used them 1 winter for my snows then got Alloys and use a D1 offroad
The Rancho's suck. I went the other way had OME's loved them wanted longer shocks got the Rancho's and the valving is way off they are like driving with badly worn out shocks.
I put my second battery in front of the airbox after I installed a Safari snorkel a $10 tray from Advanced Auto matchs up with existing threaded holes I will send a pic when I have some time
I have the metal part in good shape and the washer hoses T etc no jets or ends say $50 +shipping can have it out tinite should be there tomorrow

Depends where you wheel as to what you need. In PA you wouldn't last a day without diff guards I love the QT style diff slider, mine are all bent, they protect your rear pinion and help with rear tie rod also and sillsliders are a must, but if you are running in mud with no rocks you may have...
