By the way... seemed to leak most when that corner of the vehicle was lowest. I.e. parked downhill after driving around.

I had the same issue, turned out to be the screw at the top of the radiator. the one that holds the shroud. took it out and put some pasty JB weld (not the quick dry type) put some vaseline on the threads of the screw and put it back together. allowed it to dry at least 16 hours...

Recently replaced hg in 2001 DII 4.0 108K miles. Also have 1998 DI 4.0 168K miles and will be needing HG replacement very soon.

4runner, I bought and used the ebay kit on my 2000 Disco II this past Nov. and on a 96 Disco last aug. No problems to date. (Knock on wood!!) The parts fit nicely and there were even oem parts in the kit. i.e. labelling/part number ID. Good luck with it.

No they are definitely not a direct fit. Both fronts and rears have to be altered and welded to fit. You will also have to play around with the wires and splice them here and there. I tried it awhile back and then gave up. Its cheaper to get them reupholstered with whatever...
