Hey Greg, my Disco with the headers was vandalized a couple months ago, so I don't have the rig anymore, but I can tell you that they fit pretty easily between the frame and I just had a two-bit welding shop cut off the cats and do the connection. Make sure you put a proper flange connector on...
Never saw the Paypal request for the 4.6 DII MAF. Do you still have some?
Also, my LR3 compressor rebuild didn't last but a couple months. Do you have the compressors? Are they pulls or new? Old style or new?
Thanks in advance,
Bryan

My manifold gauges are showing psi of 40 on the low and 225-240 on the high with ambient temps in the mid 90's.
The system is supposed to hold 25 oz. +-1. I put in 24 oz. as that is what I could find. It is cooling well 12 hours later.
Am I on the right track?
I guess it's steam from moisture in the system. The compressor gasses/steams through the oil tank vent.
I went ahead and cut off at 45 minutes and let hold a vacuum with closed system for another 45. No perceivable losses.
1999 DII: So I have the AC system on a vacuum now for about 30 minutes. There is still gassing through the compressor exhaust. Is that moisture still being removed or is in gassing from the oil in the compressor?
Thanks in advance,
Bryno
I have thought the same thing. I asked for them to replace all 4, AB didn't really address it.
If it were my business and it were such a critical component, I would have replaced all 4 for my customer just to CMA!
Would have been cheap customer service and wouldn't have had this thread...
When I was looking around for replacement options, Expedition Exchange has DOT lines for $70/pair. They are 3" longer than stock and have a nice spiral/wire protector to avoid damages to the line itself.
AB says they are made 'in house'.
They also stepped up this morning and sent me another line, no charge. I guess someone there decided they better stand behind their products. Good for them!
You guys have hit my point right on. While I wouldn't expect a wear and tear warranty, would any of us go out side right now and replace all out flex lines because they are five years old?
Brake lines cannot fail like this period. If I had hit or hurt someone, I guarantee the attorneys would...
So I had a hard stop at the red light yesterday and this is what I find after I had to run the light because I couldn't stop:

Yup, and 250 lbs of my torque. It wasn't the bite that was the problem, it was the twist. It finally took a big honking impact, don't even know how he got it hooked up, but it took a lot of compressed air.
So to update the thread, I got a new O2 under warranty, istalled in B1 along with an old, spliced, BMW O2 that I have used for testing in the past. Both O2's began working correctly. I have about 100 miles on them and they are oscillating voltage as I would expect.
I am wondering why there...
The work is time consuming, but not too difficult if you have the tools and determination. Just get a copy of the Rave CD or find it online and do your planning. Last time I had my heads off the most difficult thing was the last head bolt. drover side against the fire-wall. Wheew, that was tough.
