    p1173 Code O2 Sensor?

    The 4 common triggers for this code are. 1) dirty air filter and MAF 2) low engine temp 3) poor fuel causing injs to have long cycle times 4) plugs to cold or excessive gap. Also..... wrong wt oil for your region or oil is breaking down and burning off. Hope this helps.

    Also a bad IAC will cause a rich run. If its been rich for a long time and your just now chasing the problem. throw all 4 O2 sensors away and start with new ones. a rich run for a prolonged period will build up fuel on the O2 sensors and burn out the heaters making a bad situation very much...
