Connect the wires on the plug not the box , as far as I can tell my alarm no longer works , it was tripping every time I opened the door .

My central lock was not working so can't say, but in guessing it shouldn't affect it .

Make sure your alarm is disarmed, then under the glove box remove the black fascia ( planel ), lower bottom right , is the alarm CPU , there's 2 sets of wired plugs , the far one has 2 orange stripe /black wires , cut both wires , they are very thin so melt off enough shielding and connect them...

Hi , my alarm activated on my 98 disco , I do not have a door key , and a bad actuator prevents my central locking function , I searched and have found you can disable alarm from under glove box , ( alarm control modual, but my question is will this disable my alarm that's all ready activated...
