285/75r16 with some trimming. 265/75r16 without trimming.

That's what I did on the rear of mine to fit the 285/75s with a 2" lift. I trimmed about an inch more all the way around in the front.

I'd be willing to bet that you could trim enough that the rubbing wouldn't be too bad since DIIs don't articulate very much. Unless you have removed the swaybars and/or completely re-engineered the suspension. Probably would have to trim a shit ton though and run longer bump stops.

I got a deal on some steel wheels with 285/75 MTs that I couldn't pass up.

I have 5 18" Hurricanes for sale. 4 have Nitto Terra Grapplers in 255/55r18 with 50% tread. 1 has the OE Michelin in 255/55r18. The wheels have been dipped black but could stand to be redone. I can deliver to URE11 and am willing to ship. Buyer pays shipping. Comes with center caps and lugs...

Pretty sure they are. A friend of mine pulled a starter off of a D2 and put it on his D1. Bolted right on and has been using it for over a year.

I'll be there for a day. More if I can sweet talk the boss/wife.
