I have some pics of myself and unit running around with Hilux's....we built are own mounts since we bought the trucks off locals and jimmey rigged everything to them....when I get home from work I will post pics....the Hilux is so lightweight and simplistic...I had an upgraded model with a built...
BMW is sportier, Mercedes is more luxurious....thats how I view them, even though I have a Mercedes, BMW's are more enjoyable.....Before I had rovers I had a 3 series BMW that was a rock solid vehicle.

My daily driver is my 4 runner, it has never been to the dealer since i bought it, granted it only has 30K on it but I lost count how many times my rover was in the shop its first 30K miles.

I did it last summer on my truck using Durabak grey smooth paint, heres an old post with pics http://www.discoweb.org/forums/showthread.php?t=50670&highlight=durabak
Its holding up great, I went with the smooth paint as to minimize scraping and cutting yoursellf when you use the bumpy rough...
I have two of them for a D2 but, looking to sell it locally in Oklahoma, I have either a T-15 or T-17 which ever you want. Its not worth the money to ship these things.
