    Parting my 97' disco

lift, ladder, and snorkel are long, long, long gone. I do have a 2" OME med. duty that I was left with after I sold the 4" to a buddy of mine. Fuel pump is NOT AEL.

    Overfilling diffs

I pulled the breather tube bolt and filled it to 1.5x capacity. had no issues. I did the same for the Tcase too except I pulled the temp sender.

    D1 Drivetrain removal

I leave the TC in the trans. easier to pull the engine out of the bay. Plus its half as messy, that fucker holds a lot of ATF. I've used wobbly extensions to remove the bolts.

    Parting my 97' disco

Wife wrecked his jeep so I need to make some fast space in the garage. $1700 gets you the following: the RTE wideface, no lights, no winch. the springs, cones, bushes, panhard and driveshafts and two front shocks. and the 5 KM2s and the spare tire relocation bracket. I will not ship this...

rr4-3 and rr4-3p. they sit ~4" over stock on my truck. They're the same springs that he has, so he declined.

    Parting my 97' disco

97 D1 Se7 in Vegas Dislocation cones and rear driveshaft avail. New fuel pump assembly a year ago. leaky 200,000 mile LT230 with new-ish shifter. R380 manual conversion kit. trans is crunchy going from 1-2, but otherwise ok. No spline wear. comes with a CPS, and a less than year clutch. 3"...

    D1 Genuine head unit

In the stock d1 headunit theres a little plastic spacer under it. 94-95s had the alarm LED there. Just remove that little piece of trim and slide the d2 headunit in.

    D1 Crossmember

I've run a few over the years with out em. My current truck lacks one too. In a side impact, or offset crash though, you're gonna wish it was there. but at that point, it won't matter anyways.

    D1 Genuine head unit

Remove your old one and plug the new one in. Provided its the non-nav unit. They both have the same main plugs. the cd changer plugs are different.

RTE 3" Springs and Terrafirma Standard shocks

Hit 4wp and get some shitty ranchos to tide you over till you can invest in good stuff. You'll bottom the stock stuff out on parkinglot speed bumps.

Temp Gauge on 100 degree days

Even worse when you put a thousand pounds of armor, and huge knobbies on said outhouse then go climb 13% grades. a stock engine with good components will cool just fine anywhere. Its when you start fucking with the engine, or run worn out parts is where the problems happen.

Temp Gauge on 100 degree days

city/offroad with a/c on in 110F. 180-190 flat highway with a/c: 185-195 steep grades with a/c up to 210. a/c off it rarely ever gets over 185.

    range rover seats in a 95 d1

Rare seat switches? HAHAHAHA. Try any 80s W124/W126/W201 Mercedes product. I'm likely going to graft in E30 sport seats into mine, with a RRC rear, reupholstered in vinyl, with heat. FYI: P38 seats are a mile wide, and won't fit.

Broken weld on exhaust...ok to drive?

Both the welds on mine broke a few months back. lost the entire exhaust system as it took the hangers with it. That was one long ass 60mi drive home. Floors got hot, but no fires. Carry a fire extinguisher!

Looking for the definitive Vortec swap thread

LS camaro headers. Use the oil pan too. L33 weighs ~ rover v8. LM7 weighs ~ 300TDI flash the PCM for a 5 speed. Find a hydraulic shop willing to make hoses. btw: LS a/c compressor relocation kits are out there, and they do use a ND compressor similar to rover ones. Stock radiator will be...

    Removing rear AC?

the hoses are routed fuckall too. I'd say the easiest way is to lift the body off the chassis to fit rear a/c lines.
