Well I've got her parked and a new shaft in the mail from Lucky8. I'll try my hand at rebuilding this one for a spare when I feel like spending a day cursing at inanimate objects.

So I'm just getting into the Land Rover game with the purchase of a 99 DII. First thing I'm doing is a 2" lift and tires. Is the 99 subject to the thinner frame as well and should I think about replacing the shock towers with something aftermarket while installing the lift?
