    Hello, hope you all had a good Turkey day, The vacuum port that sets on top of the plenum that goes to the vacuum advance , on the dizzy, seems to be clogged up. I get no vacuum reading at all. I've tried spraying some carb cleaner, took my air hose to it and it's clogged, any suggestion...

    Hello, I need your advise, 04 disco, engine was rebuild 25k ago. It developed a knock which appears to be coming from the lower end, rod knock? I did an oil pressure test, cold idle-55, cold at 2K-58, Hot idle-29, Hot at 2K-24. Your advise is much appreciated Thank you Claudio

    slight stumble at idle

    I’ve had more than enough codes on my wife’s 02. My 04 has been good to me, just miss fire codes when my coils went out and CPS code when that died, but I’ve only had her for a year. I checked for vacuum leaks, found none, I’ve cleaned the MAF and ran injector cleaners ( Techron and Lucas)...

    slight stumble at idle

    No Codes. Champion plugs, STI 7mm wires. All cylinders were in the upper 160’s. Engine was rebuild last year, has about 12k on it, truck has about 130k. Thanks C

    My 04 D2 has a slight stumble at idle. It idles at 750 rpm, over 800 rpm it smooths out. I’ve replaced, plugs, wires and coils. Compression is good, leak down test…ok Your thoughts Thanks

    Same here, drilled/slotted from EE on all 4's and SS extended brake lines made a big differance with my brakes. C

    Whats the most mileage you have seen on a D1?

    My 95 D1 with 190K has only let me down twice. Once it was the alternator and the othe time the fuel pump. My 01 D2 I had, let me down way too many times. It had alittle over 100K. In my case, the D1 is more reliable by far. C

    Same overheating problem....on both Rovers

    You blew two expansion tanks... if you’re cap’s are working properly that shouldn’t happen. Were they new tanks or used? Best thing to do is get a block tester, aka, combustion leak tester. I think NAPA carries them.
