I wasn't looking for a way to disable it, just stop it from coming on automatically while I sort out a voltage issue. It looks like it can't be done though. I have removed the relay for now. Thanks.

Update: I'm thinking that the errors are caused by low voltage while cranking. I have been monitoring the voltage, sometimes while cranking it would dip below 9 volts, that aligned with the times I would get the error. I'm not sure why it would only drop that far sometimes but below 9 volts...
