I have a set of big blue springs. Never put them on....ended up going with OME.
They were going to go on my 04 Discovery. Not sure what other years they work with (D1's maybe?)
Anyway, I have no idea how much these are going for, so just make me an offer, i assume it will be low which is fine...
thanks for all the feedback. went and picked it up today and was told that a solenoid within the transmission shorted out. I'm trying my best to locate an internal solenoid in the tranny other than the valve body but can't find any. What am i missing here?
He was referring to a solenoid within the transmission body. Not sure if it even has one in there as I'm not a mechanic by any means.
Not even sure how to move forward with this since the mechanic seems to have basically just settled by saying its the trans and not some electrical issue.
First post here in a while as I'm back in the Land Rover game......

for the swivel refil on a 97 disco.....do you refill it from the top where the abs sensor is? or from the square plug on the side about 3/4's of the way up on the housing?
thanks.
When going through the front hub tear down on a 97 Disco is okay to reuse that hub nut lock washer? Or should I put off the job, order the part and wait till it comes in?
well, rave cd to keep it lower than the radiator but higher would make sense although i don't really feel like bleeding the system again unless absolutely necessary. I'm going to take a look again tomorrow morning and see what I can deduce from the situation. Thanks and I'll update.
Put expansion tank lower than radiator, removed radiator drain plug, removed upper and lower hoses, removed drain plug in LH side of engine block. After done draining installed new radiator, cleared bleed hose of any residual coolant and started filling. So I don't know why it's causing any...
sorry, it's a P38 w/ bosch engine.
The whole cooling system was bled prior to installing the new radiator. Fan is fine, t-stat was fine prior so I don't know why that'd be a problem now.
First off, does anyone know what this part is/does? It is ticking really loud. It is in the middle of a small hose that runs from the air intake box to the plenum (?).
Also, I just replaced the radiator with a replacement from Will and the temp gauge is definately running towards hot. I...
