As the differential temps are similar roughly 60 deg drop, sounds like the radiator (usually crap) might be Ok

I would replace the T sat, sounds like its not letting the hot stuff out fast enough. Or remove it.

Update: After the VSS was changed, the speedo was still pegged at 140+. Oometer never stopped working (even when pegged) and coorectly. Got back on the freeway this morning and when I hit 70mph the speedo came down from 140 to 70. Must be the sensor getting enough juice to reset the speedo...

Anyone find the problem? Mines pegged, just replaced the VSS and disconnected power for a bit, no change. Odometer works fine.

Perhaps due to heat the inertia switch is triggering for some reason? I have been fighting a similar problem (replaced wires, plugs, cap, rotor, coil, checked grounds, battery, alternator connections etc etc), turned out to be fuel pump! I have no idea if its supposed to be on or off...

The fuel rail has a schrader valve on it. Its on the passenger side (USA) next to the intake manifold further forward on most (Not near the firewall). You can use a tire gauge on it. Carefully of course...
